Mission and Goals

To operate, maintain, and safeguard forever the Kitchel-Lindquist-Hartger Dunes Preserve in its natural state for scientific, educational, and aesthetic purposes.

Site Restoration and Stewardship​

To have an ongoing process of site restoration and continued stewardship of the Kitchel Lindquist Hartger Dunes Preserve. This will be part of an ongoing adaptive management program that is consistently reviewed. 

Land Protection​

Continually search for opportunities to protect and expand the Kitchel Lindquist Hartger Dunes preserve.

Outreach, Education, and Collaboration​

To expand the network and leverage resources to research and educate others in order to achieve the mission of the Kitchel-Lindquist-Hartger Dunes Preserve.
